Tutorial: How to import a DXF or DWG file in to Hydrosym

Goal:

Using a DXF or DWG file in your schematic.

Steps:

• At file you can select

• Browse to the location where the DXF file is saved. Select the file and check if the symbols have the size as the example symbol(in the red square).

• If it is not the same size you can use scale to change that. Use save as to save the impotrted DXF file tot he location you want and open the file. You can use this as a schematic or you can make a component of it(see tutorial Create new component and symbol from schematic).
